Lucky Charms Graphing

Lucky Charms Sorting Sheet

I love using this activity with my students, I give each student a sandwich bag with Lucky Charms cereal inside it. Students sort out the marshmallows and then use the data to create their graph and answer questions!

Shamrock Mosaics

Diecut large green shamrocks. Then use your paper cutter to cut up different shades of green paper into little pieces. Give kids gluesticks and allow them to decorate their shamrocks with the little pieces of paper.

March 17th
(sung to Row, Row, Row Your Boat)

I like this day, March 17th
I like the good St. Pat
He loved the land called Ireland
Now, what do you think of that?

I like this day, March 17th
I like the good St. Pat
He drove the snakes right from the land
Now, what do you think of that?

I like this day, March 17th
I like the good St. Pat
He taught the people to be good
Now, what do you think of that?

I like this day, March 17th
I like the good St. Pat
He used the shamrock growing green
Now, what do you think of that?

I like this day, March 17th
I like the good St. Pat
So we’ll help the Irish celebrate
Now, what do you think of that?

Leprechauns
(sung to Three Blind Mice)

Leprechauns, leprechauns
Hiding here, hiding there
They don’t want us to see them play
Every year on St. Patrick’s Day
See them smile in their cute little way
Leprechauns, leprechauns
    Repeat verse

Leprechauns March
(sung to Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star)

Leprechauns are marching by
See how cute they wink their eye
See them marching two by two
Can’t you see them wave to you
I think St. Patrick’s Day is near
Because the leprechauns are here.
