Parents today I uploaded photos from our first week, individual first day of school pictures, and a few pictures for our room tour. To save photos of your child click on the picture and it will open to a larger version. Then right click and click on "Save Image As" (If you are on a Mac hold down Ctrl and your mouse at the same time). |

We had a great first day of Kindergarten! After relaxing for a bit I decied to take on our class website. I've updated our class schedule, homework information, volunter information, FAQs, our class birthday list, the school calendar, and curriculum information! Plus begun to post in our first week of school photo album! |

Welcome new Kindergarten parents! Can you believe the summer is over already? I've been performing updates to my class site and the Woodlin Elementary site over the summer, all of which should be completed by this weekend and the start of school. I hope that this website will become a resource for you to know about and understand what your child has been doing at school, it will provide details and information about academic support and enrichment, and I try to post weekly photo updates showing the types of activites we work on each week in class. Again welcome to Kindergarten and get excited for a wonderful year! |

I finally discovered what my website updating problem has been! My host changed my password on me due to some problems on their part with hackers. Our class blog is up and running please check it out! I am learning with my class so it is a work in progress! I also added a Science page to the website that has a photo diary of our caterpillars lives. |

I can't believe we're a month into the school year already! And I completely forgot to update my updates page! Oops! So much has happened since the start of the year! On Thursday I launched our class blog, we are using ClassBlogmiester which is a teacher and student oriented blogging program that allows our class to blog for class projects and share our daily events with our families!
I've been adding pictures of this school year and the events we've had already including one of our assemblies. Visit the 2008-2009 photo page.
International Talk Like a Pirate Day was on Friday! We celebrated by reading, writing, and making pirate ships to pretend we were pirates.
Thank you for all the emails that have been sent to me about how helpful my site has been. As the year goes on I hope to continue to add projects and documents and will continue to make this a student, teacher, and family resource! |
